The Hero (1936) by Fitzroy Richard Somerset, 4th Lord Raglan (1885–1964) presents a classification of mythical heroes based on their adherence to twenty-two archetypal incidents. This page presents the incidents as questions and scores the result. Some lines have been reworded slightly for clarity. The higher a hero/heroine scores the more similar he/she is to the archetype of the sacred hero-king as described by Lord Raglan.
